The Director General of the Anbar Health Directorate, Dr. Khudair Khalaf Shallal, inspected on Monday, April 27, 2026, Al-Karma New Hospital, which has reached advanced stages of construction with a completion rate of 92%. He reviewed the stages of furnishing and medical equipment installation and toured the building floors.

He met with the resident engineering team and held a meeting with them to follow up on work details and progress rates, stressing the need to intensify efforts and accelerate the pace of work to complete the project as soon as possible.

In a related context, he also inspected the Primary Healthcare Sector in Al-Karma to review the status of healthcare services and monitor workflow in health institutions.

He was received by the Sector Director, Dr. Thamer Ali Saleh, who provided an overview of the nature of work, services provided, as well as key challenges and needs.

The Director General met with medical, health, and administrative staff, praising their efforts and emphasizing the importance of teamwork to ensure the best healthcare services.

He also stressed the importance of adhering to official working hours, maintaining discipline, ensuring cleanliness and upkeep of health facilities, and providing medicines and medical supplies to enhance the quality of healthcare services delivered.
