Omar Mishaan Dabbous, Governor of Anbar Governorate, accompanied by the Director General of Anbar Health Directorate, Dr. Khudair Khalaf Shalal, conducted an inspection visit on Monday, 9 February 2026, to the New Al‑Garmah District Hospital project with a capacity of 100 beds, which has reached an advanced stage of construction with an overall completion rate of 89%.

During the visit, the Governor toured the project facilities and met with the engineering team supervising the works, where he reviewed the current stages of implementation and the future plans to complete the remaining works in accordance with the approved schedule.

The visit was attended by Anbar Provincial Council Member Mr. Ayoub Yousef Al-Halbousi, the Governor’s Assistant for Technical Affairs Eng. Khalid Thuwaini, and the District Commissioner of Al-Garmah Mr. Rawad Al-Halbousi. Discussions focused on the technical and administrative aspects of the project to ensure its completion in line with the specified timelines and standards.

The Governor emphasized the importance of the project in strengthening healthcare services and improving the quality of medical care in the governorate, noting that the opening of Al-Garmah Hospital will represent a significant addition to the healthcare sector and a qualitative step forward in serving the residents of the district.
