The project has a total built-up area of 24,000 m², and includes the construction of the reinforced-concrete skeleton of the BCH Main Hospital Building (three floors), with the installation of 12,265 precast piles.

The project was executed as a joint venture with MID International Contracting (Jordan) and UHS (Universal Hospital Services) acting as the healthcare planner and medical equipment supplier.

The scope of work includes the following key components:

1. Main Hospital Building:
Construction of the full structural, architectural, and utility works.

2. Medical and Technical Departments:

  • CSSD Department with complete sterilization equipment.
  • Linear Accelerator Room with dedicated entrance for radiotherapy services.
  • Main Operating Rooms within the Surgery Department.
  • Endoscopy Unit and Dental Treatment Rooms within the Outpatient Department.
  • Comprehensive Laboratory Facilities including:
  1. Serology Laboratory
  2. Chemistry Laboratory
  3. Microbiology Laboratory
  4. Histopathology Unit
  • Radiographic Department equipped with diagnostic imaging rooms.

3. Residential and Ancillary Buildings:
Including staff housing and supporting service structures.

4. External Works:
Development of internal road networks, parking areas, and complete landscaping works around the hospital complex.
