The Director General of Al-Muthanna Health Directorate, Specialist Physician Dr. Mazen Al-Akili, announced the commencement of construction works for a 200-bed hospital in Al-Rumaitha District, starting in mid-February.

He stated that the project is one of the strategic healthcare projects funded by the Iraqi Ministry of Health, aimed at strengthening the healthcare infrastructure and providing comprehensive medical services to residents of the district and surrounding areas.

The project will be implemented by the UAE-based AKG Company, in accordance with approved technical specifications, contributing to the enhancement of healthcare services in Al-Muthanna Governorate.
